Gone is the Buick your grandparents used to drive—in its place is the 2013 Buick Verano. With a more compact body and smooth curves, the Verano is the picture of an entry-level sedan, with a distinct horizontal grille adding a classy touch to the sedan’s silhouette.
2013 Buick Verano Performance
A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is the base engine choice for the 2013 Verano, producing 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. The standard and only transmission is a six-speed automatic with a manual-shift feature. For the Verano Turbo, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder is the powertrain of choice with a standard six-speed automatic transmission, though a six-speed manual transmission is optional.

2013 Buick Verano Efficiency
According to the EPA, fuel economy for the 2013 Buick Verano is rated at 25 mpg combined, while the Verano Turbo is 24 mpg combined for both the automatic and manual transmissions.

Though the 2013 Buick Verano is considered a small sedan, it doesn’t feel like it once you step into the cabin. There is plenty of room in the backseat, though some of its competition does offer a bit more.
