2013 Cadillac ATS Sedan Performance

The 2013 Cadillac ATS Sedan offers three different engines that each provide a unique experience behind the wheel. Standard is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 202 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. The second is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 272 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Rounding out the engine selection is a 3.6-liter V6 pumping out 321 hp and 274 lb-ft of torque. All engines come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive configuration, with all-wheel drive optional for the Turbo and V6, and a six-speed manual available for the Turbo only. At best, the ATS can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, which is average in the segment.

2013 Cadillac ATS Sedan Efficiency

Fuel economy numbers don’t vary too widely for the smaller two engines. The 2.5-liter is rated at 22 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined, while the Turbo is rated at 22 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. The V6 requires more fuel to fire its extra cylinders—expect numbers closer to 19 city, 28 mpg, and 26 mpg combined, and less with all-wheel drive.

2013 Cadillac ATS Sedan Interior

The 2013 Cadillac ATS Sedan offers a well-equipped and tastefully-designed interior with high-quality materials. It features pleasing wood, leather, and metallic accents as well as a wraparound dash, driver-centric controls, LED gauges, and subtle ambient lighting. The available CUE infotainment interface will be familiar to most users as it operates like an iPhone or iPad. The front seats are comfortable and adequately supportive during spirited drives, though taller passengers may run out of legroom in the back.
