Made for those who want to transport their passengers, cargo, and even trailers around in serious style, the Escalade ESV takes the Escalade’s appeal one step further. The ESV is based on the Chevrolet Suburban, but decked out with Cadillac’s upscale features and design. The Escalade ESV adds another 20 inches onto the length of the already-large Escalade.
A long list of standard exterior features proves the ESV means business. The base Escalade ESV comes standard with 18-inch wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, foglamps, rear parking sensors, power-folding heated mirrors with auto-dimming, running boards, a roof rack, automatic xenon headlights, a power liftgate, remote ignition and keyless ignition/entry.
Dark, tall, and handsome, the ESV pretty much has it all when it comes to making a statement.
2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Performance
The 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that cranks out 403 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive come standard, and all-wheel drive is available as an option. Edmunds.com reports that despite its size, we can expect 0-60-mph acceleration to take just over 7 seconds – not bad for a beast of an SUV; a testament to its incredible power.

EPA-estimated fuel economy is competitive, ranking similar to its rivals. The ESV gets 14 mpg city, 18 mpg highway, and 16 mpg combined for rear-wheel drive models and 13 mpg city, 18 mpg highway, and 14 mpg combined for all-wheel drive models.

The ESV is designed to dominate the road not only in size and appearance, but also in comfort, space, and interior design and features. The plush interior boasts soft leather seats, faux-wood, alloy trim, and plenty of technology and features to keep all passengers comfortable and connected.
The ESV can accommodate seven or eight passengers, depending on configuration, and even when it’s packed full of people, the ESV still boasts an incredible 46 cubic feet of cargo space. Need even more cargo space? With the middle seat section folded and third row removed, the Escalade ESV offers a class-leading 137 cubic feet of cargo space.

The 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV comes standard with antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front side-impact airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera and OnStar emergency communications. A blind-spot warning system is also featured on all trims except the ESV base model.
