2013 Chevrolet Spark Overview
What’s New for the 2013 Chevrolet Spark
The Chevrolet Spark is brand-spanking-new for the 2013 model year.
2013 Chevrolet Spark Exterior
The Chevrolet Spark is a cheerful little four-door hatchback, full of personality and ideal for getting around the city. Coming in at a full 14 inches shorter than Chevrolet’s next smallest car, the Sonic, the Spark is one of the market’s smallest and least expensive cars -perfect for drivers looking for a youthful, fun, and gas-conscious ride.
The Spark is offered in incredibly unique colors, adding to the car’s personality and intrigue. The exterior is fairly basic until you reach the 2LT trim level, where fog lights, roof rails, sporty front and rear fascia treatments, and chrome trim come standard.
2013 Chevrolet Spark Performance
Hopefully you aren’t looking to do any street racing in this thing. While it’s an adorable car, it isn’t known for its power. A 1.2-liter four cylinder engine powers the Spark, creating 84 hp and 83 lb-ft of torque. Enough to get you where you need to go, but without any overly-impressive acceleration.
2013 Chevrolet Spark Efficiency
What the Spark lacks in power, it makes up for in efficiency. The EPA estimates fuel economy at 34 mpg combined for the manual transmission and 32 mpg combined for the automatic.
2013 Chevrolet Spark Interior
The interior is simple and modern, with eye-catching color accents on the dash and door panels. The Spark offers some upgraded materials and the dash is well-organized and easy to navigate. Chevrolet’s available MyLink infotainment system is packed-full of sharp graphics and intuitive menus.
2013 Chevrolet Spark Safety
Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control, hill-hold assist, front and rear side airbags and full-length curtain airbags, OnStar and front-seat knee airbags.
