2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Overview

What’s New for the 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe

The 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe remains essentially unchanged from the 2012 model year.

2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Exterior

The smaller sibling to the Chevrolet Suburban, the Tahoe is a full-size truck-based SUV perfect for transporting family, friends, cargo, and hauling toys. The Tahoe is a practical choice for anyone who regularly tows a boat, a horse trailer, a camper, or whatever your heart desires, but also requires ample in-vehicle seating.

2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Performance

All 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe models are powered by a 5.3-liter V8 that generates 320 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque – certainly enough to get the job done. A properly equipped Tahoe can tow up to 8,500 pounds.

2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Efficiency

EPA-estimated fuel economy is 15 mpg city, 21 mpg highway, and 17 mpg combined – respectable for its class.

2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Interior

The Tahoe has a comfortable cabin, with soft-touch materials and an appealing design and finish. The cockpit controls are well laid out, easy to read, and intuitive. The Tohoe’s biggest competitive advantage is its capability to seat nine passengers with the optional front bench seat, but also has the option for a middle bench or middle captain’s chairs, depending on your needs.

2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Safety

Standard safety features include anti-lock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front-seat side airbags and side curtain airbags. Also available on the Tahoe are rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a blind-spot warning system is available with the LTZ trim.

In government crash tests, the Tahoe has earned four out of five possible stars, a low roll-over score being the only factor weighing the overall score down.
