The 2013 Ford Escape embraces the new stylish designs that have slowly become the trend in the compact SUV segment. It features clean lines and a sporty appearance enhanced by HID headlamps, fog lights, body-color mirrors, dual-chrome exhaust tips, and big 19-inch wheels.
2013 Ford Escape Performance
The 2013 Ford Escape comes with three excellent engines, including two EcoBoosts, mated to six-speed automatic transmissions with manual shift control. The base 2.5-liter four-cylinder produces 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque, the 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder produces 178 and 184, and the 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder produces 240 and 270 and up to 3,500 lbs of towing capability. The EcoBoost engines also come with optional AWD.

The base 2.5-liter engine gets 22 mpg city and 31 mpg highway), the 1.6-liter EcoBoost gets 23/33 (FWD) and 22/30 (AWD), and the 2.0-liter EcoBoost gets 22/30 (FWD) and 21/28 (AWD).
