The 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 has the same engine capabilities as the 2012 model year, but sees an entirely updated exterior. The new look of the Boss 302 matches its incredible power and performance – this is a car that stands out from the crowd.

The Ford Mustang Boss 302’s iconic look received a major facelift for the 2013 model year, with details that pay homage to its predecessor, the 1970 Boss 302. The Boss 302 received a new paint finish, including a hockey stick graphic and reflective stripe on the car’s side – which the 1970 Boss 302 also adorned.
Other updates include: sterling gray accents on the front grille, mirror caps, and a rear pedestal spoiler. The grille has been updated, and a new splitter, functional hood extractors, HID head lamps, and LED tail lamps are all new features.

The Mustang Boss 302 proved its performance capabilities with last year’s engine, which it retained for this model year. The 5.0-liter V8 engine produces 444 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, making it one mean machine.
Ford did update the suspension system to improve performance and handling even more for this year, to include higher-rate coil springs, stiffer suspension bushings, and a larger diameter rear stabilizer bar.

The Mustang Boss 302 gets an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city fuel economy, and 29 mpg highway.
