Despite being more or less the same vehicle, the 2013 Honda CR-V manages to look larger, bolder, and more aerodynamic thanks to swept-up quarter windows and stylish updates to the front and rear fascia. It features a single-piece liftgate coupled with a significantly lower lift-over height to ease loading and unloading and 16-inch steel wheels with 215/70 all-season tires to make treading through the rain and snow that much easier.

The 2013 Honda CR-V offers a single 2.4-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder engine paired to a five-speed automatic to produce 185 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque to either the front wheels or all wheels. It can tow up to 1,500 pounds.

All 2013 Honda CR-V models use an energy-efficient multistage alternator and feature a green “ECON” button on the dash that engages Honda’s Eco Assist system. The system modifies throttle mapping and operation of the A/C and cruise control to help improve efficiency. The engine is rated at 23 mpg city/31 mpg highway with FWD and 22/30 with AWD.
