A 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers every 2013 Fit, putting out a peppy 117 horsepower and 106 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual transmission comes standard, with an optional five-speed automatic available, which includes shift paddles on the steering wheel for manual control with the Fit Sport model.

According to the EPA, fuel economy is rated at an estimated 29 mpg combined with the manual and 31 for the automatic.

Though the material quality isn’t the greatest, Fit’s cabin is still stylishly designed with comfortable seating all around. The rear seat has plenty of room for multiple adult passengers, while also providing a 60/40-split “Magic” rear seat—it’s seat bottom flips up to create an opening that allows tall items to fit into the small car with ease.
