Hyundai is set to show off its impressive lineup of performance-geared cars at the 2013 SEMA Show. The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo is the latest on Hyundai’s power-packed list of attending vehicles.

Don’t let the Veloster Turbo’s more street-approved composition fool you. After modifications by Fox Marketing, the 2013 Veloster Turbo is Hyundai’s most powerful SEMA Show entrant to date.

The hatchback increased to a total of 370 hp. The jump of almost 170 horsepower was achieved through adjustments to its 1.6-liter Gamma engine with four turbocharged cylinders.

Fox Marketing also splashed a custom coat of hand-mixed paint christened R-M Onyx HD Waterborne SkyAqua Pearl. The name is a mouthful and a half, but the hue it names transforms the Veloster into a stunning looker that demands to be noticed.

“The Veloster Turbo was designed with affordable performance in mind,” said Scott Margason, Hyundai Motor America’s product planning director. “Fox Marketing’s unique concept showcases the versatility of our turbocharged 4-cylinder Gamma engine family while expanding the overall performance envelope for the Veloster line.”

Including the updates to its interior, the appearance of the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo at SEMA is a performance we don’t want to miss.
