2013 Kia Soul Overview

What’s New for the 2013 Kia Soul

The 2013 Kia Soul is largely unchanged from the previous model.

2013 Kia Soul Exterior

The Kia Soul is a one-of-a-kind small, boxed-shaped wagon,  and one of Kia’s best-selling cars. The Soul has an impressive list of standard features including 16-inch steel wheels, rear privacy glass, and power heated side mirrors.

Affordable upgrade packages or the Soul+ and Soul! trim levels allow you to fully deck out your Soul, if the standard features just aren’t enough.

2013 Kia Soul Performance

The base Soul gets a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine creating 130 hp and 118 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, which includes a hill-start assist function.

2013 Kia Soul Efficiency

The EPA’s estimated fuel economy for the base Soul is 26 mpg combined, not bad for a little wagon with a big personality.

2013 Kia Soul Interior

Standard interior features include air conditioning, full power accessories, cloth upholstery, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and a six-speaker sound system which includes satellite radio, CD player, USB port, and an auxiliary jack.

2013 Kia Soul Safety

Standard safety equipment includes antilock disk brakes, hill-start assist, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, and front-seat active head restraints.

The Kia Soul receives an overall top rating of five stars in governmental crash tests, making it a safe choice.
