2013 Mazda2 Performance
The 2013 Mazda 2 is powered by a 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that creates 100 hp and 98 lb-ft of torque. While that might not seem incredibly powerful, the Mazda2 is small and lightweight, so it doesn’t take much power to make it fun to drive.
2013 Mazda2 Efficiency
The EPA estimates that the manual transmission Mazda 2 gets 29 mpg city, 35 mpg highway, and 32 mpg combined, while the automatic returns 28 mpg city, 34 mpg highway, 30 mpg combined.

The affordable Mazda2’s interior is basic, but functional. The cabin features subtle orange display lighting and smart but simple audio and climate controls.
The front seats are comfortable and seat two adults with ease, while the backseat is better-suited for children. Cargo capacity is 13.3 cubic feet with the rear seats in place, and 27.8 cubic feet with the 60/40-split seats folded.
