2014 Cadillac ELR Coupe Exterior

The 2014 Cadillac ELR is an eye-catcher with smooth, sweeping lines that create an aesthetically pleasing exterior, while remaining aerodynamic. This contemporary style makes you feel like you’re stepping into the world of luxury the moment you set sights on it. While it’s based on the Chevrolet Volt, there are no similarities in body panels or dimensions, adding a touch of class to the Volt platform.

2014 Cadillac ELR Coupe Performance

Similar to the Chevrolet Volt, the ELR has a T-shaped 15.5-kilowatt lithium-ion battery and a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine, but adds a bit of distance over the Volt. This combination boasts 217 hp when the four-cylinder kicks into action and 157 hp on the battery and electric motor. The 240-volt recharge time is set at 5 hours, giving the ELR an electric range of 37 miles.

2014 Cadillac ELR Coupe Efficiency

Cadillac’s new electric hybrid gets 31 mpg city and 35 mpg highway for its gas-powered powertrain, while the all-electric range gets 82 MPGe (equivalent).

2014 Cadillac ELR Coupe Interior

The Cadillac ELR’s interior is so luxurious, you might think you’ve stepped into a car with a much higher price tag. Driver-selectable auto heated seats warm themselves when you first start the vehicle, while five different high-end, top-notch quality materials combine with ambient lighting to create a cabin that appeals to everyone’s creature comforts. Add the automatic cup-holder cover and you can’t deny the high quality the cabin gives you.

2014 Cadillac ELR Coupe Safety

While the ELR has yet to undergo government or Insurance Institute of Highway Safety testing, with adaptive cruise control, safety alert seat, and OnStar assist system, the Cadillac ELR clearly presents standard safety features that are sure to make it one of the top ranked cars.
