2014 Chevrolet Camaro Exterior
Handsomely sculpted lines and a prominent, contemporary front façade make it known on first glance that the 2014 Camaro was born from the pony cars of yore. The low, wide stance to the ground and a wider, lower opening in the grille combine to create a much more aerodynamic car. This streamlined body allows the Camaro to easily cut through the air as it races down the road. With its muscular silhouette, there’s no doubt that the 2014 Camaro will turn heads everywhere.
2014 Chevrolet Camaro Performance
Like any muscle car, the 2014 Camaro is made for power. A 3.6-liter V6 that churns out 323 hp and 278 lb-ft of torque powers the LS and LT, while the Camaro SS has a 6.2-liter V8 that boosts the horsepower to 426 with 420 lb-ft of torque. The Camaro Z/28 uses a 7.0-liter V8 to get an estimated 500 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, while the Camaro ZL1 boasts the highest performance with 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque. Depending on the engine, the 0-60 time varies, but best bet is that it won’t be over 5 seconds flat.
2014 Chevrolet Camaro Efficiency
Depending on the engine and transmission you choose, the fuel economy varies. For the 3.6-liter, the EPA-estimated mileage is 20 mpg combined for the manual and 22 mpg for the automatic. The regular 6.2-liter gets 19 mpg combined for the manual and 18 mpg for the automatic. If you choose to go for the most power, the supercharged 6.2-liter gets an estimated 16 mpg for the manual and 14 mpg for the automatic.
2014 Chevrolet Camaro Interior
Retro features combine with modern technology in the 2014 Camaro cabin, creating an overall stylish design that any muscle car lover will enjoy. The dashboard makes sure everything the driver would ever need to know is right at his finger tips, while the Head-Up Display, which comes standard on the 2LT and 2SS, gives him performance data by displaying it on the windshield, making sure you don’t have to move look away from the road for a second. Though the back seat can be a bit squished, especially for adult sized customers, the front seats are comfortable and supportive for racing around curves.
2014 Chevrolet Camaro Safety
