This year, optional gray-painted wheels with red-painted brake calipers are offered, as well as optional exterior black stripes. Besides these options, the 2014 Focus ST is largely unchanged.

EPA estimates the Focus ST gets 23 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined. These estimates place the Ford ST near the top of the hot hatch segment in terms of fuel ratings.

In government crash tests, the Focus ST earns four out of five stars, and the best rating of “Good” in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s crash tests.
