2014 Ford Fusion Profile
It’s hard to believe that 2013 is already half over and some 2014 models are already available. One hot new model is the 2014 Ford Fusion and it is just now rolling in to dealerships.
The Fusion was completely redesigned for the 2013 model year and got its stylish new design. It is getting a few updates for 2014, including a new engine. Other new options include inflatable rear seatbelts, ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Ford is also expanding the SE Luxury package to include passive keyless entry with push-button start and remote engine starting.
The new engine is an available 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, in addition to the 1.6-liter version. Ford says this new engine, while slightly less powerful, will improve fuel economy and improve sales worldwide. Base Fusions are driven by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder. One other turbocharged engine is available: a more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder rated at 240 horsepower.
