2014 FR-S and tC Monogram Series ™ Models to Debut at 2014 NAIAS
At next week’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Scion will reveal the limited-edition 2014 FR-S and tC Monogram Series ™ models ahead of their scheduled February arrival on dealership lots nationwide.

“Through this limited edition Monogram Series, Scion brought together extra comforts and conveniences in the FR-S and tC without sacrificing value,” said Scion Vice President Doug Murtha in a statement. “By incorporating these features as standard for a limited time, we provide a great price to go head-to-head with the competition and encourage more drivers to get excited about experiencing a Scion.”
Both the 2014 FR-S and tC Monogram Series models will feature a number of premium features to set them apart from their standard brethren. Each will feature the same available body colors and transmission options as the 2014 Scion FR-S and tC. The Monogram Series FR-S will be limited to 2,000, and only 2,500 model of the Monogram Series tC will be created.
Scion FR-S Monogram Series Features
The Monogram Series edition FR-S will feature leather seats with Alcantara® inserts, BeSpoke® Premium Audio with navigation and connected services, Smart Key with push-button start, HID headlamps with LED daytime running lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and outside mirrors, a frameless rearview mirror, color-keyed rear spoiler, rear-seat center armrest, and carpet cargo mat.
Scion tC Monogram Series Features
The tC’s Monogram Series version will offer leather-trimmed seats with perforated inserts, BeSpoke® Premium Audio with navigation and connected services, Smart Key with push-button start, heated front seats, leather shift knob, rear window wiper, color-keyed low-profile rear spoiler, carpet floor and cargo mat, and upgraded center console lid and interior door trim.
The 2014 FR-S and tC Monogram Series models have also been priced for their February arrival. The FR-S will have starting MSRPs of $27,400 (six-speed manual transmission) and $28,500 (six-speed sequential automatic transmission); it will also cost an additional $395 for the premium Whiteout exterior color. The tC will have starting MSRPs of $21,400 (six-speed manual) and $22,400 (six-speed auto). Both will be covered by Scion’s three-year/36,000 mile limited warranty and five-year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty.
