2014 GMC Yukon Ranks Highest in APEAL Study
The 2014 GMC Yukon has taken home yet another honor courtesy of J.D. Power, having just ranked the highest in the Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study℠ (APEAL), the results of which were announced this afternoon. The Yukon has earned two other distinctions courtesy of J.D. Power & Associates this year—in the Initial Quality Study and in the Vehicle Dependability Study.
In APEAL, J.D. Power was looking to see which vehicles customers found most gratifying to own and drive. Specifically, they looked at over 83,000 survey responses from customers after 90 days of driving. (These are the same 83,000 drivers used for last month’s Initial Quality Study.)
“Recognizing the Yukon demonstrates the effort and attention to detail given by our engineers and designers,” explained Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick and GMC. “These awards reinforce our focus on putting the customer at the center of everything we do from the first visit to the dealership, to the drive home, or 10 years down the road.”
