2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Overview

What’s New for the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe

For the 2014 model year, the Santa Fe will have new standard and optional features, including ventilated front seats and rear parking assistance.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Exterior

The 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe is the perfect mixture of form and function, utilizing perfectly sculpted lines along with sweeping curves to create an aerodynamic silhouette that allows the crossover to get optimum fuel efficiency. The prominent, simplistic grille adds a touch of classiness to the exterior, while the uniquely designed headlights give the front fascia a whole lot of character.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Performance

A 3.3-liter V6 engine powers all Santa Fes, producing 290 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque. A standard six-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels, though an all-wheel-drive system is optional. If it is properly outfitted, the Hyundai Santa Fe can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Efficiency

EPA-estimated fuel efficiency for the front-wheel-drive models comes in at 21 mpg combined, while the all-wheel-drive models are rated at 20 mpg combined.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Interior

When you’re in an extremely competitive class like the Santa Fe is, it’s important to stand out. With exceptional materials and a practical, yet elegant design throughout its cabin, there’s no denying that the Santa Fe’s interior does just that. Touchscreen menus and functions are easy to use, while the front seats are extremely comfortable, especially for long drives. The second and third row seats are also comfortable, though the third row isn’t exactly well-suited for adult passengers.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Safety

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety rated the Santa Fe its highest possible ranking of “Good” in moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact, and roof-strength tests. It was also rated “Good” for whiplash protection in rear impacts thanks to its seat/head restraint design. Antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, and front-seat active head restraints are all standard safety features for the Santa Fe, along with a rearview camera and Blue Link, which is Hyundai’s emergency telematics system.
