2014 Jeep Cherokee Shipping Out to Dealers

2014 Jeep Cherokee shipping out to dealers and hitting the road soon.

Those of you who have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee don’t have to wait any longer—Chrysler has announced that the newest addition to the Jeep lineup will be arriving in dealerships across the nation later this week.

Sleeker and less boxy than the Jeep Liberty its replacing, the 2014 Cherokee will help out the Jeep brand in the compact crossover segment, going up against the Honda CR-V and Ford Escape. The segment is currently the most competitive in the industry.

Deliveries for the Jeep Cherokee were originally supposed to begin between July 1 and September 30. The delays in shipping were due to problems with the new transmission. Chrysler’s first-quarter earnings declined 65% due to this delay, showing that the Chrysler Group cares more about selling good quality cars than earning money.
