The interior will also see some changes with a reshaped steering wheel, new audio speakers, and an updated version of Lexus’ Remote Touch infotainment system.

The 2014 Lexus CT Hybrid has a body built for efficiency with a multitude of sculpted bodylines and subtle curves creating an aerodynamic body that helps the hybrid powertrain perform to the best of its abilities. The hatchback rear adds an unexpected touch of athleticism to the car with a panoramic rear window providing easy sightlines and an integrated top spoiler adding a bit of spunk.

For this hybrid powertrain, a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine comes together with a pair of electric motor/generators and a nickel-metal hydride battery pack to churn out 134 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard, along with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

Antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, and multiple airbags are all standard safety features in the 2014 CT Hybrid. Lexus’ Safety Connect telematics system is also standard, providing automatic collision notification, stolen-vehicle location, and emergency assistance. Optional safety features include a rearview camera and front and rear parking sensors.
