2014 Lincoln MKT Exterior

For power, the standard MKT models look to a 3.7-liter V6 that churns out 303 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. A standard six-speed automatic transmission drives the front wheels. The MKT EcoBoost engine is also offered with a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 producing 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque with a standard all-wheel-drive system and six-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel economy for the 3.7-liter engine comes in at 20 mpg combined, while the EcoBoost engine is rated at 18 mpg combined.

Premium leather upholstery and genuine wood trim come together to create a tastefully elegant interior that creates an atmosphere seeped in luxury. MyLincoln Touch adds to this sense of luxury with an interface that incorporates three different display screens, allowing the driver to command the audio, phone, and navigation features with his voice, touch controls, or buttons on the steering wheel. The MKT also offers either six- or seven-passenger seating with the choice of either bench seating or captain’s chairs for the middle row.

Rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, stability and traction control, antilock disc brakes, and front seat side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags covering all three rows are all standard safety features for the 2014 MKT, earning the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s top rating of “Good” for the MKT’s performance in moderate-overlap frontal offset, side-impact, and roof-strength testing.
