Nissan JUKE

All the Details: List of 2014 Nissan JUKE Specifications

2014 Nissan JUKE Exterior

The Nissan JUKE is known for its funky fresh styling, so there’s no surprise that this tradition continues for the 2014 model year. There’s no denying that if you’re looking for a unique-looking car, the JUKE is for you. A peculiar mix of smooth curves and harsh angles molds the hatchback into what might just be the most interesting looking car on the market.

2014 Nissan JUKE Performance

To power the 2014 JUKE, Nissan has placed a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine under the hood, churning out 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels. The Nismo model of the JUKE has a similar engine, though it’s enhanced to produce 197 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. For the transmission, the S and SL trims both come standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while the SV and Nismo offer either a six-speed manual gearbox or the CVT. All-wheel-drive is an available option on all models with CVT.

2014 Nissan JUKE Efficiency

According to the EPA, the fuel economy for the front-wheel-drive and CVT model is 29 mpg combined. Those models with AWD drop a few mpg with 27 combined, the same number as the manual.

2014 Nissan JUKE Interior

The funky feel of the JUKE continues into its interior, with some beautiful curves and body-colored surfaces coming together to bring the outside in. Silver accents and large, easy to operate controls make the cabin a fun, fresh experience. Both front and back seats are comfortable, though the headroom in the rear fits child-sized passengers best. There’s plenty of storage compartments though with the ability to fold down the seatbacks in the rear to add to the cargo space.

2014 Nissan JUKE Safety

Government crash tests found the JUKE worthy of four out of five stars for overall crash protection, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the hatchback a Top Safety Pick. Standard safety features include antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, active front head restraints, front-seat side airbags, and side curtain airbags. There is also an optional rearview camera.
