What’s New for the 2014 Nissan NV Passenger

For 2014, the V8-powered NV Passenger vans receive a towing-focused transmission mode, 7-pin connector pre-wiring, a Class-IV receiver hitch, brake controller pre-wiring and a heavy duty battery.

2014 Nissan NV Passenger Exterior

The NV Passenger van is big, bold, and ready to take on whatever you throw its way. Able to comfortably sit 12 people in four rows, the van is beastly, but in the best possible way. Its square shape and refined look says ‘long SUV’ more than it says ‘big van’, and I think we can all agree that’s a positive thing.

2014 Nissan NV Passenger Performance

The NV Passenger is capable of transporting 9500 pounds, easily capable of hauling all the people and cargo you expect it to. The standard NV Passenger comes with a 4.0-liter V6 that produces 261 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque. Optional on the S and SV but standard on the upgraded SL is a 5.6-liter V8 boasting 317 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque.

2014 Nissan NV Passenger Efficiency

Fuel efficiency for the NV Passenger is highly dependent on how much cargo you’re hauling, but it appears that the Passenger is competitive with its competitors in this area.

2014 Nissan NV Passenger Interior

The EV Passenger is designed to transport large numbers of passengers in comfort and style. The interior offers loads of versatility with hundreds of seating configurations, seat-mounted safety belts, and plenty of storage space, even with no seats removed.

Plenty of technology is also available to keep everyone comfortable and connected – a touch screen navigation, Bluetooth, power outlets, and a rear camera along with front and rear sonar systems are all available options.

2014 Nissan NV Passenger Safety

The EV Passenger is best in its class when it comes to safety. Offering eight standard air bags, including roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags, a rollover sensor for 2nd-4th row, and outboard occupant head protection, the EV Passenger takes safety to another standard.
