It certainly didn’t take long for the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak® Edition truck to make its return to the truckmaker’s lineup. After a year-long hiatus, the 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition announced its return to glory, boasting more features than ever, including an all-new RamBox Cargo management System.

The Mossy Oak Edition was first introduced back in 2011 as a way for outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen to show their love for all things nature. The 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition will sport bedcaps and tailgates gussied up in Mossy Okay Break-Up Infinity® camouflage pattern; the Mossy Oak logo is prominently displayed on the rear quarter panels and embroidered in the headrests.

“Ram Truck is focused on the needs and wants of truck buyers,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO – Ram Truck Brand, Chrysler Group LLC, in a statement released Thursday. “Our Ram Truck owners are passionate about hunting and fishing. The Ram Mossy Oak Edition gives hunting enthusiasts a way to proudly proclaim their love for the outdoors.”

According to Chrysler Group LLC’s numbers, 30 percent of all Ram 1500 truck owners are avid hunters; 44 percent consider themselves fishermen; 42 percent are campers; and 27 percent are boaters.

The 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak edition will only be available as a 4×4 Crew Cab model.  Available exterior colors include Black, Black Gold Pearl, and Prairie Pearl; these can be paired with Canyon Brown or Frost Beige interior.

Scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of this year, the 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition will have a starting MSRP of $39,985 (plus $1,195 destination fee).
