What’s New for the 2014 Scion iQ

For the 2014 model year, the Scion iQ has a new audio display and a brand new limited-edition Scion 10 Series trim level.

2014 Scion iQ Exterior

With a little snub-nose and a delightfully compact body, the 2014 Scion iQ will more likely than not cause the same “Aw!” reaction you reserve for puppies and kittens. Slight curves throughout the body and defined lines create an aerodynamic, compact profile that allows for optimal fuel efficiency, while also adding the kind of spunk you’d expect from your Italian grandmother. Its small size makes the iQ ideal for urban dwellers, easily fitting in the smallest parking spaces imaginable.

2014 Scion iQ Interior

For such a tiny car, it can be difficult to maximize what little space you have. The interior of the 2014 Scion iQ does this successfully, creating a dash that offers plenty of room in the front seat. There isn’t much room in the rear seat, but they are 50/50-split seats, allowing you to enlarge the cargo area by a few feet.

2014 Scion iQ Safety

Government crash testing found the 2014 iQ worthy of four out of a possible five stars for overall crash protection, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the subcompact a top score of “Good” for its performance in frontal-offset and roof-strength tests. Standard safety features include stability and traction control, antilock brakes, front side airbags, front side curtain airbags, front knee airbags, front seat-cushion airbags, and a rear window airbag.
