2014 Toyota Highlander Performance
Under the hood is about the only aspect of the Highlander that remains the same in 2014. The base 2.7-liter four-cylinder generates 185 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, while drivers opting for the available 3.5-liter V6 will see those figures rise to 270 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque.
2014 Toyota Highlander Efficiency
The 2014 Toyota Highlander’s base four-cylinder engine returns a noteworthy 20 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, and what’s more impressive is that those numbers don’t falter much when the larger engine is under the hood. The Highlander’s higher-performing V6 still manages to return 19 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.
