The 2015 M4 is powered by BMW’s classic 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with a twin-turbocharged mill producing 426 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. It has the option of two different transmissions: a six-speed manual with a twin-plate clutch or a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual, both of which help the BMW M4 reach 62 mph in 4.1 seconds.

North American fuel efficiency numbers are not yet available, though BMW states that the M4 will be 25 percent more efficient than its M3 predecessor.
