In 2014, Buick unveiled several 2015 Buick Regal GS changes to the brand’s sporty sedan. Now the company has announced more updates that will be coming to the 2015 model of one of their sportier offerings, as well as a few downgrades.

To start with, Buick has gotten rid of the Regal’s 18” aluminum wheels, HD radio capability, body-colored door handles with chrome accents, and its convenient left-hand trunk side net. Also, the driver and passenger power lumbar both change from a 4-way to a 2-way seat adjustment, and the child safety locks have gone from power to manual – two developments which feel like a step backwards.

On the other hand, there are definitely some positive changes to note. First off, Buick has gotten rid of the Graphite Blue Metallic exterior color but introduced a cool new Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic color in its place. And inside, the 2015 Regal features Ebony seats with Saddle interior accents and boasts new tech capabilities in the form of OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot.

Buick is also offering what it calls the Experience Buick Package: a new bundle that includes a tilt-sliding power moonroof and Buick IntelliLink Radio with built-in navigation, AM/FM stereo and CD player.

Other modifications include DLO and porthole finish changes from Satin to Bright, and column stalk changes from Beige to Black. Whether the latter alteration is considered an upgrade or a downgrade will most likely depend on the driver’s own opinion of the color beige.
