2015 Buick Verano Receives Multiple Tweaks
The 2015 Buick Verano won’t hit dealership lots until later this year, but General Motors has already let us in on some of the big (and small) changes for the all-new model. Most unfortunately, the 2015 Buick Verano is saying sayonara to the six-speed manual option, making the six-speed automatic transmission the only one available.
However, the Verano will gain more than it loses. Along with the LaCrosse, Regal, and Encore, the Verano will come standard with GM’s Onstar with 4G LTE capabilities, across all trims.
In addition, the Verano will offer IntelliLink standard among all variations, allowing for up to 10 devices to be connected at once. Features of IntelliLink include Siri Eyes Free Integration (iPhone users only) and Text Message Alert. Drivers will get a complimentary three-gigabyte data description (three months) upon purchase; they’ll also receive a six-month subscription to OnStar.
In addition, drivers can opt for an exterior package, which is available on all models save for the Turbo. This package adds a rear spoiler, gives the Verano a chrome grille treatment, and includes an all-new Desert Dusk Metallic color option.

Pricing has not yet been announced for the 2015 Buick Verano, so keep checking back with us leading up to its launch.
Update
Buick is now reporting that it mistakenly announced that the manual transmission would be going the way of the dinosaur. A six-speed manual transmission will still be available. In addition, the Desert Dusk Metallic exterior paint job will not be offered in the appearance package.
