The base trim offers 17-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, and automatic headlights. Choosing Luxury will get you front and rear parking sensors, and remote engine start (in automatic models only). The Performance model is also equipped with adaptive xenon headlights and LED running lights. Finally, the Premium trim gets all the above, plus 18-inch wheels.

Performance is where the 2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan really shines. The standard engine choice is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine good for 220 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. An available 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged motor pumps out 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can choose these engine configurations with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

Those looking for higher performance numbers can choose the optional 3.6-liter V6, which boasts 321 horsepower and 274 lb-ft of torque. This option is only available with the six-speed automatic transmission.

Each engine sends power to the rear wheels, although all-wheel drive is also available when paired with the automatic transmission.

Powerful cars are often lacking when it comes to fuel efficiency, but that is not the case with the 2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan. The base four-cylinder motor is rated at 21 mpg city and 31 mpg highway.  The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine gets 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, which gives it a combined rating of 24 mpg combined. Choosing the V6 engine puts a slight dent in those numbers, but you’ll still get a manageable 18 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, which equals out at 22 mpg combined.

The fuel efficiency numbers are slightly lower for AWD versions of the ATS Sedan. The turbocharged four-cylinder has ratings of 19/29 mpg city/highway, while the V6’s ratings come in at 18/26 mpg city/highway.
