2015 Cadillac Escalade Craftsmanship Reaches Optimum Level
The fourth generation of Escalade is nearly upon us, and as with all generations of Escalade that have come before, the 2015 iteration goes heavy on the craftsmanship. Not only does 2015 Cadillac Escalade craftsmanship maintain that high standard of excellence that has been set for it over fifteen years, but it also finds a way to surpass its predecessors.
“Cadillac’s ongoing growth provides the ideal stage for the all-new Escalade to take a major step forward,” said Uwe Ellinghaus, chief marketing officer, Global Cadillac, in a press release. “Escalade has always had a bold character, differentiating itself from other luxury SUVs. Now, Escalade adds more sophistication, with advanced technology and hand-tailored craftsmanship.”
The 2015 Escalade’s exterior carries with it the familiar aspects that have made Cadillac’s SUV the first name in luxury, including the signature chrome grille and vertical headlamps. The 2015 model will incorporate Total Internal Reflection LED high beam functionality for the first time anywhere, utilizing four crystal lenses and LEDs in the high beam and five crystal lenses and LEDs in the low beam. The 2015 Cadillac’s exterior lighting relies on an impressive 142 LEDs to help create its signature look.
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade interior benefits mightily from cut-and-sew live stitching. In the cut-and-sew process, all materials are precision cut, wrapped, and stitched directly to their interior aspects. Genuine wood accents are paired with high-quality leather in order to create Cadillac buyers’ choice of three unique interior environments: Shale leather with glossy American Walnut accents, Kona Brown leather with Natural Finish Elm accents, and Jet Black leather with low-gloss Santos Palisander wood accents.
As can be expected, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade craftsmanship is not merely limited to how the vehicle looks. It benefits from an all-new 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to the Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed auto transmission with TapShift control; safety features such as Magnetic Ride Control and electric variable-assist power steering; and the Cadillac brand’s CUE infotainment system and OnStar’s new 4G LTE in-vehicle Wi-Fi.
