2015 Camaro Fest Will Be Held on Corvette Turf
If you’re a car fan who has heard of Bowling Green, Kentucky, it’s probably because it’s home to the Corvette—and, of course, the National Corvette Museum. But Chevy’s other performance offering, the Chevy Camaro, will temporarily be stopping by next year to say hi, for the 2015 Camaro Fest.
The Camaro Fest moves to a new location every year. Previously, the large gathering of Camaros has been held at Valdosta, Georgia; Chandler, Arizona; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Baytown, Texas.
The gathering will include a car show, drag racing, autocross, and other related activities, according to Bowling Green Daily News.
“Anytime you get 1,000 cars in Bowling Green, it’s a big deal,” commented Janet Henderson, the group sales/services manager for the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The 2015 Camaro Fest will be held at Beech Bend Raceway from August 7th through 8th. While the celebration is specifically to commemorate the sixth-generation Camaro, Camaros of all generations are welcome.
