2015 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV: Making Sure Crime Doesn’t Pay
Police forces across the country are gaining a new, impressive member to the force with the introduction of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV. The most recent addition to the carmaker’s police vehicle lineup will really provide an intimidating profile and more than enough power to make criminals think twice before fleeing the scene.
Available in 2WD pursuit and 4WD special service models, the 2015 Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) lineup will also feature an automatic 4WD pursuit vehicle powered by a 5.3-liter V-8 with 355-horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain was specially made for pursuing criminals, giving officers nationwide the oomph they need to grab those daring enough to consider felonious flight over common sense compliance.
“The enhancements to the 2015 model have further refined an already great vehicle to give police officers the performance, speed and safety they need to help keep their communities safe,” said Ed Peper, U.S. vice president, fleet and commercial sales.
As the largest police vehicle in the market, the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV is built to help police officers haul around their equipment without losing the ability to chase after lawbreakers. With these bad boys out on the road, you might want to think twice the next time the police are after you.
