The Silverado 2500 is a commanding heavy-duty pickup truck. Its square-jawed exterior poise looks plain tough, but not at the cost of its refined style. The Silverado 2500 now offers 6.5- and 8-foot bed lengths, while bumper corner steps and the EZ Lift and Lower tailgate make accessing and loading the truck beds easier than ever.

The 2015 Silverado 2500 comes with the choice of a 6.0-liter V8 that puts out 360 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, or an optional turbocharged 6.6-liter diesel V8 that creates 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. The 2015 Silverado earns the ‘heavy duty’ title with its ability to haul up to 3,760 pounds, which increases to 17,900 pounds with a fifth-wheel hitch and when properly equipped.

A 4.2-inch color infotainment display comes standard, along with a four-speaker audio system with USB/iPod integration and an auxiliary audio jack.

The 2015 Silverado 2500 comes standard with antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control (including trailer sway control), front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Available upgraded safety features include front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and the Driver Alert package.
