The 2015 Chevy City Express at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show

Chevrolet released the all-new 2015 City Express pricing details early this week. The 2015 Chevrolet City Express marks the brand’s first foray into the small cargo van segment.

A 2.0-liter dual-overhead cam inline-four-cylinder engine with variable valve timing powers the 2015 Chevrolet City Express. This powerful yet efficient engine is good for 131 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque. The City Express offers an abundant 122.7 cubic feet of cargo space that is totally customizable. The City Express also boasts an estimated payload capacity of an impressive 1,500 pounds and a light turning diameter of 36.7 feet.

2015 City Express Pricing: LS Trim

The City Express LS will wear a starting sticker of just $22,950, which includes a destination charge of $950. The price excludes dealer fees, license, tax, and title.

Standard for the 2015 City Express LS are the following features:

  • 12-volt power outlet
  • 150-amp alternator
  • 20 interior cargo-mounting points
  • 40/60 split rear cargo doors, opening 90 and 180 degrees
  • Center console storage with a standard file folder bin
  • Dual sliding doors
  • Fold-down mobile workspace passenger seat
  • Power windows
  • Six exterior roof rack mounting points
  • Six floor-mounted D-rings
  • Solid rear doors (tinted-glass windows available)
  • Vinyl flooring

2015 City Express pricing

2015 City Express Pricing: LT Trim

The 2015 City Express LT begins at $24,510, with the same destination charges but also excluding dealer fees, license, tax, and title.

Standard features for the LT include backup sensors, Bluetooth connectivity, and cruise control. These features are available on the LS trim. Standard for the LT but unavailable on the LS are heated, power-adjustable outside mirrors and remote keyless entry with automatic locking.

Available for the LT trim is a technology package. This package includes a 5.8-inch diagonal touchscreen radio, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, a rearview camera system, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio with a three-month trial, and a USB input jack.

Look out for the 2015 City Express on dealer lots early in the fourth quarter.
