Digital Trend has named the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat the winner of the car section in its Best Product of 2015 awards

While the rest of the automotive industry is moving forward with high-tech hybrids and self-driving cars, Dodge is keeping it old school—and it looks like it’s working for the American carmaker. Through a combination of high-octane power and classic styling, the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has made a lasting impression on the industry. So much so that Digital Trends has named the four-door muscle car its Best Product of 2015 in the Cars category.

The popular technology magazine was impressed by the Charger’s 707-horsepower 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine. This supercharged power source makes the Charger the only four-door muscle car in America, giving it an appeal that is lacking in other vehicles. Its 3.5-second 0-to-60 time showcases the power that the Charger Hellcat’s muscle-bound body suggests.

But the Charger’s power isn’t the only thing that left Digital Trends impressed—so did its handling. “The marriage between tried-and-true engineering like hydraulic steering with modern innovations like push-button suspension settings, make [the Charger] feel old-school but not dated,” said Alexander Kalogianni in his write up of the winning muscle car.

And Kalogianni isn’t the only one who thinks the Charger Hellcat is award-winning. As Dodge increases production of the 2016 model, there’s no doubt that this muscular sedan will continue to rake in the awards next year.
