With the 2015 ES 350, Lexus seems poised to change the idea of what one can expect from “entry level luxury” vehicles. While very little has changed from the 2014 model (including the price, which holds steady around $37,550 for the base model), those additional amenities make the ES 350 an ideal choice for folks looking for flagship quality at an entry level price.
So just what has Lexus added for the 2015 ES 350? It’s offered with standard NuLuxe upholstery and Display Audio 7” touchscreen with backup camera functionality. Drivers will also have the option to subscribe to Lexus Enform Remote, a connected car service that utilizes an app—available through App Store or Google Play—and allows drivers to remotely control features such as door locks, remote stop/start, and climate control. Additionally, the Mark Levinson Premium Sound audio system incorporates innovative audio restoration technology that restores clarity that may be lost in the digital reproduction of music.
Apart from a new Atomic Silver exterior, the ES 350 is otherwise unchanged from the 2014 model, which means it returns the 268-horsepower V6 and the EPA-estimated 31 mpg highway it generates.
Other standard features include a roomy cabin that provides 40 inches of legroom, 10-way adjustable power front seats, automatic climate controls, and Automatic Sound Levelizer.
Optional features include 12-way heated/ventilated power front seats, Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Remote Touch Interface.
