2015 Ford Fiesta Overview
2015 Ford Fiesta Exterior
The 2015 Ford Fiesta is blessed with strong styling that doesn’t overdo it by trying to be too cool, whether you choose the four-door sedan or five-door hatchback configuration. The latter is being positioned as the primary model, which makes clear Ford’s intentions to sell the Fiesta as a hot hatch. And as befits its sportier dynamics, the Fiesta ST looks even more aggressive.
2015 Ford Fiesta Performance
The base engine in the 2015 Ford Fiesta is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder that makes 120 horsepower and 112 pound-feet of torque, which comes with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. Also available is a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder, which somehow produces even more power—if only marginally so—at 123 hp and 125 lb-ft. The Fiesta ST comes with a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 197 hp and 202 lb-ft.
2015 Ford Fiesta Efficiency
The 2015 Ford Fiesta is quite efficient no matter the engine you choose. The 1.6-liter gets 27 mpg city/38 mpg highway with the manual and 29/39 mpg with the automatic. The 1.0-liter gets 32/45 mpg and the Fiesta ST’s turbo 1.6-liter gets 26/35 mpg.
2015 Ford Fiesta Interior
The 2015 Ford Fiesta offers a number of interior choices, like white-on-black leather seats, contrasting seat piping, and even plum leather seating surfaces. Soft-touch materials are everywhere, even on the armrest, center console lid, and steering wheel. Heated front seats, push-button start, and multi-color selectable ambient lighting are available as options, as well as MyFord Touch with navigation is on higher-trim models.
2015 Ford Fiesta Safety
The 2015 Ford Fiesta comes standard with antilock brakes, traction and stability control, an integrated blind-spot mirror, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, and a driver knee airbag. It received four out of five stars for combined overall protection in government crash testing and the highest score of “Good” in all but one of the IIHS’s crashworthiness evaluations.
