2015 Ford Mustang Technology is Smarter Than Ever Before
Most people know the Ford Mustang for its muscle, attitude, and 50-year heritage. It’s known for having a lot of power under the hood, but not necessarily for being a technological powerhouse.
Turns out, that’s a bit unfair to the fabled pony car, especially with the launch of the new 2015 Ford Mustang—the smartest one ever built. It offers a full lineup of smart technologies and performance-enhancing features, including MyKey®, Blind Spot Information System with cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, Intelligent Access with push-button start, and a rearview camera.

At Computex Tapei 2014, Ford also introduced its AppLink connectivity system to three new markets—Taiwan, New Zealand, and Thailand—demonstrating its continued technology leadership.
With the AppLink rollout, customers from the above three nations will gain access to additional technologies like mobile phone integration, hands-free voice controls, and Emergency Assistance.
“Our customers are going to love bringing their favorite apps into their cars using the AppLink platform, and our Emergency Assistance technology has reassured drivers in markets all over the globe with its first responder capabilities,” said Trevor Worthington, vice president of Product Development, Ford Asia Pacific.
