2015 GMC Canyon OnStar 4G LTE enhances tailgating

What if we told you there’s a way to play Madden NFL 15 with your friends a couple cars over while you all tailgate before the big game? Well, there is: 2015 GMC Canyon OnStar 4G LTE. This awesome OnStar feature, available as a three-month trial on the 2015 Canyon when it hits dealers this fall, will allow, among many other things, football fans to play video games online with other friends when the car is stationary.

The 2015 GMC Canyon will have a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot to make this possible. The hotspot can connect up to seven devices (including a video game console) in or around the Canyon.

This could be you.

If the Canyon is not your style, however, OnStar 4G LTE will be offered on a slew of other 2015 GM models. Check out the complete list of 4G LTE GM models.

Last year, GMC became the Official Vehicle of the NFL and thus will be featured prominently in Madden NFL 15. This makes the GMC Canyon the perfect model to play the game within—and the perfect tailgating vehicle.

“GMC customers appreciate excellence. When they do something, they do it well,” said Rich Latek, GMC marketing director. “With a 4G LTE data connection and the ability to connect up to seven devices, including gaming systems, smartphones, and tablets, GMC owners will draw the envy of nearby tailgaters in stadium parking lots across America.”
