2015 Golf GTI Pricing has been announced

Come one, come all! If you’re looking for a 210-horsepower hot hatch that makes the most of German engineering, then you’re gonna want to read this. Volkswagen has announced 2015 Golf GTI pricing, which starts at a base MSRP of $24,395 for the S trim with the six-speed manual transmission and climbs to $30,695 for the GTI Autobahn equipped with the six-speed DSG® dual-clutch automatic transmission. These prices do not include the $820 destination and handling fee.

The 2015 Golf GTI S will offer standard features becoming of more upscale trims, including:

• The EA888 turbocharged and direct-injection TSI® engine and all 210 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque that come with it
• Driving mode selection
• VW Car-Net® connected services
• Touchscreen infotainment interface
• Leather-wrapped steering wheel, handbrake, and shifter
• LED reading lights
• LED foglights
• Bluetooth® connectivity
• Media Device Interface with iPod® integration

2015 Golf GTI interior

The pot can be sweetened further with a $1,495 performance package that offers larger front and rear brakes, a torque-sensing electronically-controlled limited-slip differential, and a horsepower increase of 10. A $995 Lighting Package adds Bi-Xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, and Adaptive Front-lighting system. A $695 Driver Assistance Package includes front collision warning system and front and rear Park Distance Control.

From there, the SE (MSRP $27,395 for two-door manual) gets power tilt and slide sunroof, Keyless entry, push-button start, rearview camera, automatic headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, Fender® Premium Audio System, and leather seating. The SE will have an $800 Performance Package available that includes Dynamic Chassis Control adaptive damping.
The line-topping 2015 Golf GTI Auotbahn adds navigation, 12-way power driver’s seat, and automatic air.
