The Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show 2015, which will run from August 20th to 30th in Tangerang, Indonesia, will serve as the venue for the 2015 Honda BR-V’s debut.

What’s a BR-V, you might ask? The “Bold Runabout Vehicle,” a three-row crossover concept that’s meant to preview a seven-seat vehicle that Honda plans to bring to Indonesia.

Like the Pilot, the BR-V seats seven, but in terms of design, these sketches make it look more like a futuristic version of the CR-V. We’ll have to wait until August to find out what it looks like in the flesh (er, metal), though.

The vehicle will be equipped with a 1.5-liter engine, which can be mated to one of two different transmission options. That’s all that is known about the vehicle for now, but more details will probably trickle out in advance of the vehicle’s Indonesian debut.

“The All-new Honda BR-V has been developed for the needs of customers in Indonesia,” said Mr. Tomoki Uchida, President Director of P.T. Honda Prospect Motor, in a recent press release. “We are confident that the Honda BR-V will be loved by Indonesian customers for its appealing design and value.”
