2015 Infiniti Q50 Overview
The 2015 Infiniti Q50 sedan combines power and luxury to create one of the best vehicles in its class. Following a complete redesign in 2014, the luxury automaker is carrying the mid-size car over into 2015 unchanged—which is a good thing, because there was little to dislike about the 2014 Q50.

When you first glance at the 2015 Infiniti Q50, you’ll notice its clean lines, sporty style, and slightly aggressive stance. The mid-size sport sedan rides on 17-inch alloy wheels (19-inch in the Q50S trim level), and boasts automatic LED headlights, heated side mirrors, and LED foglights.
Upgrading to the Premium model adds a sunroof, while moving up to the Q50S will get you summer performance tires, a slightly differently-styled exterior, and a sport-tuned suspension.

The 2015 Infiniti Q50 is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 that’s capable of producing 328 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels.
The Q50’s 0-to-60 time is just 5.5 seconds, which is fairly impressive for a mid-size sedan. The Q50 is also available with all-wheel drive.

The 2015 Q50’s V6 engine is rated by the EPA as getting 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, which leads to a combined rating of 23 mpg. When you choose AWD, those numbers drop to 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.
Neither of these ratings are much to write home about, in part due to the model’s lack of a more efficient (but less powerful) four-cylinder engine.

Inside the 2015 Q50, you’ll notice luxurious touches everywhere. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, a rearview camera, twin touchscreen displays, and InTouch infotainment. In the Q50 Premium, you’ll also find heated front seats, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The sportier Q50S adds paddle shifters and leather sport seats. There’s a cornucopia of option packages, including the Navigation package which includes a navigation system and emergency telematics; the Deluxe Touring package, which has driver-seat memory functions, wood interior trim, and a multiview camera system; and the Technology package with an interior air purifier and a reactive gas pedal to help minimize uneconomical driving habits.

The 2015 Infiniti Q50 was named a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) when equipped with optional Forward Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning (available via the Technology and Deluxe Technology packages).
Every Q50 model is equipped with front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, a rearview camera, antilock brakes, and stability and traction control. To make your ride even safer, you can opt for front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, active lane control, and forward/back-up collision warning systems.
