2015 Kia Soul Goes on Sale in the UAE
Kia might be growing fast here in the United States, but the brand is also making headway in other parts of the world. For example, Drive Arabia reported today that the 2015 Kia Soul has officially gone on sale in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Sorry, impatient Americans, you’ll have to wait your turn.
The all-new Soul has received a facelift but also plays host to several improvements on the inside as well. Kia has also upgraded the Soul’s transmission; a six-speed automatic gearbox has replaced the previous four-speed automatic.

Drivers don’t get any updates to the engine, however. They can still decide between a 1.6-liter four-cylinder that gently lays down 122 horsepower and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that (slightly more violently) puts out 151 horsepower.
The interior is marked by soft-touch materials to elevate the 2015 Kia Soul in terms of luxury, perhaps to match the brand’s recent crusade into the entry-level luxury market here in the States.
According to Drive Arabia’s article, Kia made adjustments to the steering and the suspension for the 2015 model.
