2015 Mustang GT is Fastest High-Volume Ford Ever Sold in Europe

Ford has announced that the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT, with a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 4.8 seconds, is the fastest accelerating high-volume Ford vehicle ever sold in Europe.
It was also announced that the Mustang—available in Europe for the first time in its 50-year history—has already been ordered by more than 2,200 customers on the continent.

“The new Ford Mustang will be wickedly fast off the line and throw you back in your seat with a thrilling engine soundtrack,” said Hermann Salenbauch, Mustang vehicle line director. “But Mustang isn’t just fast in a straight line. The ride and handling will be a revelation for European drivers.”
The Mustang went on sale in Europe for the first time last year. When 500 Mustangs were put up for grabs during the UEFA Champions League Final in June, they sold out in just 30 seconds. Since then, more than 1.1 million Mustangs have been configured by potential buyers across the continent; thus far, Race Red and Absolute Black have proven to be the two most popular colors.
The 2015 Mustang GT, with its 5.0-liter V8, is capable of an exceptional 435 horsepower. The Mustang EcoBoost, offered with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, is also available in Europe.
