2015 Nissan Rogue

Getting picked by Consumer Guide is quite an honor. Editors test more than 150 new vehicles every year only to narrow the list down to the best buys on the market. This year, the 2015 Nissan Rogue was one of just two compact crossovers to receive this title.

Editors specifically highlighted the Rogue’s fuel economy, interior quality, and “ingeniously configured rear cargo area”, which is referring to the Divide-N-Hide cargo system that allows the Rogue to pack up to 70 cubic feet of whatever junk you can fit. Each Rogue is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine generating 170 horsepower through a continuously variable transmission that can achieve up to 33 highway miles per gallon in the front-wheel-drive trims or 32 highway miles per gallon with all-wheel drive.

Fred Diaz, senior VP of Nissan Sales & Marketing in the US, said, “”Our employees stepped up and delivered a vehicle that continues to offer the unique styling, performance, value and more that made previous models so successful while also providing a number of popular enhancements.”

In addition to its impressive utility, the 2014 Rogue was named an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ thanks to outstanding performance in crash tests and optional driver assists like the Around View Monitor, Blind Spot & Lane Departure Warnings, and Forward Collision Warning.
