2015 Toyota Venza

What’s New for the 2015 Toyota Venza?

The five-seater 2015 Toyota Venza remains largely unchanged from its previous model year.

2015 Toyota Venza Exterior

The 2015 Toyota Venza features a streamlined exterior that blends easily into the road without being too bland or unforgettable. A fairly narrow grille features a dip in the center to make room for the recognizable Toyota badge. Either side of the grille, you’ll notice projector-beam headlights and integrated fog lights. Other standard exterior features include body-color side mirrors, privacy glass, and a color-keyed rear spoiler. You can also choose a power liftgate, and a panoramic glass roof on the higher trim levels.

2015 Toyota Venza Performance

The 2015 Venza is powered by a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder motor that send power to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the Limited trim offers a 3.5-liter V6 available with all-wheel drive. The 2.7-liter engine puts out 181 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque, and the V6 offers a powerful 268 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque.

2015 Toyota Venza Efficiency

One of the main reasons to choose a car-based crossover rather than a truck-based SUV is improved fuel economy ratings. The 2015 Toyota Venza falls rather short of expectations with ratings of 20 mpg city/26 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined for the 4-cylinder engine, and 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined in the V6. Not terrible, but not too impressive either.

2015 Toyota Venza Interior

The 2015 Toyota Venza is jam-packed with impressive features on the inside. Dual-zone automatic temperature control is a standard feature on all trim levels, and each model comes with different variants of Toyota’s Entune™ infotainment system, which includes features like a 6.1-inch high-resolution touchscreen, satellite radio, and an integrated backup camera. While fabric-trimmed seats are standard in the entry-level LE model, upper trims come with leather seats for added comfort, as well as a leather-trimmed steering wheel. Another nifty feature which is standard on all Venza models is an auto-dimming rearview mirror, designed to make night driving less of a strain on your eyes.

2015 Toyota Venza Safety

The 2015 Toyota Venza is equipped with seven airbags, including front seat-mounted airbags, side curtain airbags, and a driver knee airbag. In case of an accident, the Venza is fairly well protected with an energy-absorbing collapsible steering column, and front and rear crumple zones with side-impact door beams. In government crash tests, the Venza earned an overall five out of five stars, excelling particularly in the side crash test.
