The 2016 Acura TLX is a four-door luxury sedan that features a starting MSRP of $31,695. With loads of standard and optional safety equipment, as well as the choice of two capable engines, the 2016 Acura TLX could be the stylish and sporty automobile that you’ve been waiting for.

The 2016 Acura TLX is available in seven trim levels: TLX, TLX with Technology Package, TLX V6, TLX V6 with Technology Package, TLX V6 with Advanced Package, TLX SH-AWD with Technology Package, and TLX SH-AWD with Advance Package.

The exterior of the 2016 Acura TLX offers both a bold and sleek appearance. Coming standard with Jewel Eye® LED headlights, the 2016 TLX features 5.8 inches of ground clearance when equipped with the four-cylinder engine and 5.9 inches of ground clearance when packing the V6. With the Advance Package, the TLX also features LED puddle lights and LED fog lights. Exterior color options for the 2016 Acura TLX include Crystal Black Pearl, Bellanova White Pearl, Slate Silver Metallic, Fathom Blue Pearl, Graphite Luster Metallic, Basque Red Pearl II, and Black Copper Pearl.

The 2016 Acura TLX comes standard with a 2.4-liter direct injection four-cylinder engine and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which work together to produce 206 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque. Higher trim levels feature a 3.5-liter direct injection V6 engine and nine-speed automatic transmission that combine to create 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque.

The 2016 Acura TLX has yet to undergo safety testing for either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety; however, the 2015 model did receive a five-star safety rating from the NHTSA and was named a Top Safety Pick + by the IIHS. The 2016 Acura TLX comes with a plethora of standard safety features and also offers an optional Collision Mitigation Braking System, which uses a radar transmitter and forward facing camera to detect the likelihood of an impending frontal crash. If this technology detects that a wreck is unavoidable, it will automatically tug at your seat belts and engage the brakes.
