Cadillac ripped the covers off of its 2016 ATS-V Coupe and Sedan last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, promising a whole lot of horsepower with its Twin Turbo 3.6-liter V6. As it turns out, the ATS-V is even more powerful than even Cadillac projected.

Originally estimated to generate 455 horsepower, it was revealed this week that the new ATS-V was actually SAE-certified at 464 horsepower. Nine additional horsepower might not seem like a whole lot, but it shakes out to knocking a tenth of a second off of the ATS-V’s 0-to-60 time (from 3.9 seconds to 3.8 seconds) and increases the top speed for the quickest model (an aero kit-equipped coupe) from 185 mph to 189 mph.

For what it’s worth, that’s the only change from what we’ve already learned about the new ATS-V. It’s still equipped with a Brembo high-performance brake system, three selectable driving modes, and Magnetic Ride Control. It will still have the Performance Data Recorder that debuted with the Corvette Stingray. And, of course, it will still be wicked fast and wicked awesome. Also, wicked.
